Introduction to Artisan Bread baking

The skill of artisan breadmaking is one of the most satisfying elements of the kitchen. And mastering the basic skills of bread making, learning about the ingredients and the skills in carefully kneading, proofing and shaping the dough is what this introduction to breadmaking is all about.

 Mastering the skills to produce different loaves and rolls and understanding more about the importance of the ingredients and processes involved. Using the simplest of ingredients, you will master the fermentation process and different methods of breadmaking.

What to wear: You will be in a professional cookery school environment so will need to wear comfortable clothes and preferably covered, closed toe shoes. Please bring a bag with you so that you can take home some of your delicious creations.

No baking experience is necessary; just enthusiasm and a willingness to work alongside other food lovers.

You will have plenty of bread and bakery products that you have made to take home with you at the end of the day.
